We are Stomping Ground Photo, a small Brooklyn-based company looking for an experienced Part-time Office Manager / HR Generalist to manage a remote and office team in Kensington, Brooklyn. This is a PT job that is 24-30 hours per week. Some office time is required mixed with remote. 

We are looking for someone with a minimum of (5) years of experience who can work independently. The Office Manager will work under the owners. Someone who would be a good fit with our team is positive, outgoing,  a problem solver and great communicator. An interest in photography or the work we do is a big plus. Must be able to learn new software and have intermediate to advanced computer skills. Must be proficient in Google Drive (Docs, Sheets), Excel, and Quickbooks. Experience with Zenefits a plus!

Office Manager Responsibilities

  • Own the relationship with office building management and coordinate facilities upkeep/security.

  • Monitor and order office supplies.

  • Manage the company’s shipping and receiving needs.

  • Prepare and send invoices to clients.

  • Pay bills.

  • Manage relationships with vendors, service providers.

People Operations Responsibilities

  • Place employment ads, review resumes and schedule interviews.

  • Manage the onboarding process: coordinate setup of hardware/software, assist with benefits and coordinate training.

  • Maintain company compliance with labor laws and company handbook.

  • Prepare and run payroll for employees and contractors in Zenefits.

  • Plan bi-weekly Town Hall on Zoom.

  • Schedule and assist in the planning of employee reviews.

  • Host quarterly company meetings, and special training sessions.

Administrative Responsibilities

  • Schedule meetings and plan events.

  • Special projects as needed.

  • Edit and create letters, presentations, and documentation.

  • Monitor and respond to New Business Inquiries.
